A kedvenc post-rock zenekarom nemsokára (22-én) kiad egy teljes koncertfilmet, amit a leicesteri Y Theatre-ben vettek fel. A kész filmet majd digitális formában lehet letölteni a Maybeshewill weboldaláról. A koncert maga az I Was Here for a Moment Then I Was Gone albumhoz tartozó turné lezárása volt. Zene hétfőre a The Veils nevű indie rock bandától, akik már a negyedik stúdióalbumuknál tartanak, amiről egy számot (Through the Deep, Dark Wood) egy emailért cserébe meg is lehet kapni ingyen. A videón pedig egy akusztikus darab az Abbey Road stúdióból.

Elkezdtem írni egy hosszabb bejegyzést, de túl éhes vagyok hozzá, hogy befejezzem. Úgyhogy be kell érnetek a ma premierelt Maybeshewill videóval, ami a legutóbbi album egyik legjobb számához készült. Fakó képek és piros lampionok vannak benne, meg szuper indie post-rock.
Marina megosztott egy demot új albumáról (Electra Heart), amit a jövő év februárjára várnak. Én például már nagyon.
Kell táncolható indie zene?
Ma ezt a szuper nevű bandát dobta a Last.fm rádió.
Ez szám a 2008-as Box of Secrets albumukról származik, de valószínűleg többen ismerik a fiú-lány duónak azt a dalát, ami a Scott Pilgrimben szerepelt.
People who watched So You Think You Can Dance in 2010 probably know Jar of Hearts, since Christina Perri initially rose to fame with this debut single, which charted in the top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 after being used in the TV show. It is also availabe to listen full length on Last.fm.
Not much is shared about this band (guy) and I don’t speak French to understand their (his) Facebook page. Nevertheless I find their (his) electronic music quite funny. Their (his) whole EP is free to listen & download on Last.fm and Soundcloud.

Unlike my previous music posts, chances are, you probably haven’t heard about this band. Vanity & Jokes is the solo project of Udo Pesch and at the time of writing this he had a grand total of 652 plays on Last.fm. Regardless, I think he has an interesting voice.
