I’m probably hopelessly ignorant since she’s been known to be a quarter finalist of a talent show over The Pond but I’ve just came across her violin / dubstep / shuffle video and it’s pure awesome:
I wanted to support Lindsey for being so talented so I ended up purchasing three of her songs in iTunes. They are all available in the Hungarian store as well. If you still need convincing that it is worth it, browse through her repertoire on Youtube.
People who watched So You Think You Can Dance in 2010 probably know Jar of Hearts, since Christina Perri initially rose to fame with this debut single, which charted in the top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 after being used in the TV show. It is also availabe to listen full length on Last.fm.
Aosbi Seksu could probably run for the Best Named Award: アソビ・セクスtranslates to ’sex for fun’. They were introduced to me by my EU Law professor Johannes back in Japan (visiting from Germany). I almost missed their new shoegaze / dreampop album Fluorescence released in February 2011 off of which Trails is a free download:
